Our commitment to providing a service that recognises our moral, social, health, safety and environmental responsibilities is aligned to our core values: design-led, responsible; intelligent, collaborative.
In order to fully realise these, we have implemented robust management, monitoring and review procedures to ensure that community, people, sustainability and quality are at the heart of how we run our business.
We acknowledge our social and moral responsibility to be involved in the communities in which we live and work. In practical terms the firm actively encourages and then provides the time for our members to undertake community roles such as school governorships and memberships of charitable boards in order to give service back to the community.
We recognise our role in education and mentoring beyond the confines of the firm and enact this through various initiatives including:
- •workplacements for school children
- •providing visiting tutorial expertise to leading architecture and design schools
- •working with chosen cultural partners in design initiatives. Most recently with the Barbican and the Disruption project planned for 2011 aligned to Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion exhibition in collaboration with the London College of Fashion.
